A real find! Beautiful building, friendly staff and delicious food.

We went to Luebeck to eat spontaneously this evening. Since our first point of contact was closed due to a storm surge, we tried to make a reservation there at short notice. Already at this point I noticed the extremely friendly service. The ambience appealed to both of us eerily. A beautiful old town house! The service continued to convince. We found the waiting times for the starters and main courses to be longer than average. (Starter approx 45-50min / main course approx 100min) The food was warm, but in our opinion the portions were a bit too small. I like to pay € 1 or € 2 more per dish if it ends up being more Plate is. Again, the prices were reasonable.

Went there for the first time last night. Ambience great, service very friendly, the first impression was very convincing all round. The starters and wine were very good too. In the main course we both ordered beef rump steak with rocket and parmesan, the shop was well stocked and it took a little longer - no problem. But then we got veal steak served with truffle sauce and vegetables. Apologized and offered to have the food redone. However, we didn't want to wait any longer and this food also looked tasty, so we were satisfied with it - anything can happen. We were immediately announced a price reduction. In terms of taste, it was completely okay, just not what we had ordered. When clearing up we were announced a short time to go home. The surprise then with the bill, no price reduction, no short cut on the house. Mistakes can happen, all well - but then please do not announce various reparations if none of them come into effect. It was too uncomfortable for us to ask about it. Too bad, could have gone better.

At least one tries hard. The food tastes delicious, the organization of the processes within the restaurant could perhaps be optimized a bit.

We were passing through and therefore very spontaneously looking for an Italian in Lübeck! Since Luigi is absolutely recommendable, the food is very good and plentiful, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is unbeatable! Great!

Yesterday was the first time since the change of ownership. Furthermore, very good food and an extremely friendly and attentive service. Very well attended, it is best to reserve in advance. We recommend!

Nice atmosphere, great service and great food. ? Reserved spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised. You definitely have to be when you're in Lübeck. :) Salads, pizza and steak were delicious. To our surprise, there was an aperitif on the house and a small greeting from the kitchen before we even ordered anything. Successful surprise ... ?

Very good work is being done here. Service excellent. Kitchen top. Nice atmosphere and mood. Boss talkative, goes down well with small children except our little ones;)) Food tastes good. Prices are ok. Although I generally find 5 euros for 0.5 liters of Spezi risky in the catering trade. The best restaurant during my stay in Lübeck.

Been there two and each time very, very well served. Pizza was delicious and the entrecote was great too. Maybe even an insider tip in Lübeck.

Wow. Super nice AND competent! The food is fantastic. The entire staff just great. It will be difficult without a reservation! We were lucky and were allowed to sit outside, but it wasn't until 6 p.m. The pizza is authentic and not Germanized. Tasted very good. Very child friendly. I can only recommend it.

It's been a long time since I had such a nice Italian evening Greetings from the kitchen first, very attentive. With a house wine, a salad with real Italian ham and salmon on a raspberry mirror and spagetti frutti de mare and finally homemade tiramisu rounded off this perfect evening. The ambience was right and the attentive staff who were never intrusive made this evening perfect.

A really nice, small and cozy restaurant in the middle of the old town of Lübeck. Quickly overlooked from the outside and an impressively beautiful ambience from the inside with a beautiful patio in the backyard. We were lucky and got a table without a reservation and received a very friendly welcome. When we arrived at the table there was a welcome champagne and then some little squires. There was a recommendation of the house, which shows the current fresh offers and in our case led to swordfish. This was cooked to perfection and was well presented with the side dishes. The tiramisu for dessert was good Italian, exactly as you would expect. After dinner we spent the evening with wine and a great atmosphere on the patio in the backyard. We had a very nice evening ... Thanks for that. The service did a great job despite the apparent understaffing. They were always attentive and very friendly.

Very tasty food in a very nice atmosphere. There is nothing to complain about here. However, there were some weaknesses. The service took a long time and drinks were sometimes brought only after renewed demand.

Food was delicious, but it took far too long. After 30 minutes, the excuse came and the promise that the main courses would come soon. After another 15 minutes, however, only one dish came, the other was only delivered another 15 minutes later - eating separately was therefore the order of the day ...

I went to da Luigi's for dinner yesterday with my husband. We were immediately seated on a very comfortable table by a nice waiter. The service was very quick and friendly. The food was really delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is remarkable. I will definitely come again. ☺️

Food(pizza) and drinks (beer) were ok, but service was arrogant and extremely slow. First they forgot about other two drinks, and then waiter “forgot” to give us change. My friend was first time in Lubeck , and she was shocked by so bad service. I think every guest deserve to have ok service, otherwise there are plenty of others restaurants around

Very good Italian restaurant, in the middle of the Lübeck old town. The restaurant with a very good kitchen is very busy, as it can be a bit hectic, but the staff is very good and can still score with attention and friendliness.

Great little Italian hidden away on the island in Lübeck. Luigi always makes everyone feel welcome and the little touches, from the complimentary glass of prosecco to a mini bruschetta starter are the details that set his place apart from other restaurants. Always a favourite, still working through the menu, but everything I've had so far is divine.

The food is bland and not of the best quality. I consider the menu to be limited, filled with only variations of the same base ingredients. There are far better Italian restaurants in Lubeck.
